Twisted Tea Continues Year Six at Thompson Speedway with Support of June & July Wednesday Night Specials

Barre, VT and Naples, ME — Officials from the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) announced Friday that they have once again renewed their longstanding partnership with the Boston Beer Company for the sixth consecutive year at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway. Boston Beer, through its popular Twisted Tea brand, will serve as the headline sponsor for a pair of Wednesday night, midweek specials slated for June 18 and July 9.

Both events are headlined by the return of the $5,000-to-win Dash for Cash showdowns for the Outlaw Open Modifieds along with a full card for all six Thompson Speedway track championship divisions and a special invading division of regional heroes to boot!

Wednesday, June 18 brings back the Nutmeg State 50 presented by Twisted Tea while Wednesday, July 9 will showcase the Twisted Tea Midsummer 50. Both Dash for Cash events are $5,000 to win, 50-lap sprints for the Outlaw Open Modifieds with an added attraction at both dates! The Nutmeg State 50 presented by Twisted Tea on June 18 will also feature a visit from the Evolve Bank Pro Truck Challenge while the Twisted Tea Midsummer 50 on July 9 will see the NEMA Lites make a visit to the Thompson highbanks!

The agreement continues a partnership that began in 2020. Boston Beer Company sponsored three divisions at the 58th Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing, continuing as a summer series partner over the last four years, setting the stage for this year’s return. As part of the agreement, Boston Beer Company products will continue to be sold in the Thompson Speedway concession area for fans of legal drinking age.

“Boston Beer Company has been a great supporter of Cris (Michaud) and I’s efforts at Thompson,” said PASS President Tom Mayberry. “The fans enjoy the ground-pounding Tour-type Modifieds at Thompson while responsibly enjoying Boston Beer Company products and we’re glad to continue this relationship for everyone involved.”

Boston Beer Company of Boston, MA is the fourth-largest brewery in the United States. Jim Koch founded the brewery in 1984 with Samuel Adams Boston Lager as its initial offering.
